I’m excited to tell you that I have a brand new Christmas book out next month. In the UK the title is ALL TOGETHER FOR CHRISTMAS, and in the US it’s A MERRY LITTLE LIE (Exactly the same book, but different covers and titles).

Christmas is the perfect time to write about complicated families, but the family in this story wouldn’t consider themselves to be complicated at all! They’re close, and supportive, and they’re looking forward to their annual Christmas gathering when grandparents, parents and adult children all get together. This year promises to be extra snowy and magical, and they are all determined to make it the best it can be. Which is why they intend to keep their own personal dramas to themselves. Yes, they’re a close family, but close families don’t have to tell each other everything, do they?

But secrets have a way of emerging, particularly when people are closeted together. Before anyone has time to say ‘Santa’ those secrets are spilling out and they discover that perhaps they don’t know each other quite as well as they thought.
