New to Sarah’s Books?

It’s hard to know where to start when an author has a big backlist, so here are some suggestions based on feedback from readers.

My pick if you haven’t tried me before is Sleigh Bells in the Snow, my first full length contemporary novel, which received a starred review from Publishers Weekly and encapsulates all the elements readers say they love about my writing. If you prefer to try a shorter read I suggest Doukakis’s Apprentice, my 2012 RITA winner
Like your books dark and a little heavier on emotional angst?

Try:

Suddenly Last Summer named by the Washington Post as one of the best romances of 2014

How To Keep A Secret, Sarah’s first women’s fiction novel, a family drama full of twists and turns that received starred reviews from Booklist and Library Journal.

A Night of No Return, a story with a very damaged hero that won the 2013 RITA Award for Best Short Contemporary Romance.

In the mood for something a bit lighter that makes you smile?

Try:

Miracle on 5th Avenue, a fun, snowy uplifting romance set against the glamorous backdrop of New York City that was shortlisted for a RITA Award from the Romance Writers of America.

Doukakis’s Apprentice, an office romance that won Sarah the 2012 RITA for Best Short Contemporary Romance.

The Christmas Sisters, a fun, festive family drama that propelled Sarah onto the Sunday Times bestseller list, and also hit bestseller lists in Canada and the US.
